The Finer Diner
Whether you sit in a comfy booth or on our covered patio a delightful view of the fishing inlet Boutlier's Cove is enjoyed by guests all year long. Breathtaking sunsets over St. Margaret's Bay are what inspired the slogan "Food with a View".
Popular menu items are all day breakfasts, classic turkey dinners, lasagna, and liver and onions. All soups and desserts are made from scratch. The coffee cups are bottomless and our lobster club sandwich is a signature treat! Original fine art by Sarah Irwin completes the charm inside, and out.
The ice cream deck(open June-September) features Scotsburn products and other savory sweets. A popular destination for locals and travelers alike, expect down-home hospitality and delicious meals at The Finer Diner.

Harbourside Restaurant
The Harbourside Restaurant , located in picturesque Indian Harbour on St. Margarets Bay, was originally one of the local homesteads. The building itself (over 100 years old) has been completely renovated and transformed into a quaint, family restaurant and gift shop. It is ideally situated on the coast, within minutes of Peggy’s Cove, local attractions such as the Swiss Air Monument, golfing, water tours and other amenities.The elevated outdoor deck is surrounded with glass railings providing an unobscured view of magnificent St. Margaret’s Bay. Enjoy your meal in the open air, while admiring the unsurpassed beauty of the area.
The Harbourside Restaurant is a licensed family restaurant. Our wheelchair accessible dining area has a seating capacity of 60-plus. The upper deck provides another seating area for 20 persons.
We feature delicious seafood chowder, scrumptious sandwiches, soup, seafood dinners such as scallops and haddock, and great fish and chips.
Drop in and enjoy a beverage, snack or meal in our friendly atmosphere. For your convenience, take-out meals are available.

Shaws Landing
If you want seafood with an oceanside location, Shaw's Lannding is the spot for you. The restaurant is directly on the water of the Dover Harbour. An open deck fronts an all-weather inner deck whose great expanses of glass also offer views of the working wharves of the village and the sea to all tables.
The food favors local produce. The haddock of the Fish'n'Chips is locally caught and filleted. The lobsters are succulent. Fries are home cut. Salads are fresh daily. Desserts are a treat.
