Don't forget to bring your camera. The Peggy's Cove lighthouse is the most photographed lighthouse in Canada and an icon of our marine heritage. Wander along the rocks for interesting views of the landscape and seascape. Adn don't forget the small bits of sea life that appear when the tide goes out.
Wandering on the rocks can be dangerous. Please be careful and obey all signs. The best guide is to stay off the black and wet rocks. A rogue wave can appear at anytime and wash you out to sea. It has happened before. What makes the area beautiful also makes it dangerous.
