You can launch a boat to go fishing in the bay or you can simply drop a line and fish for mackeral from any of the government wharfs in the area. It is a great way to meet some of our friendly local folks.

There are 4 government wharfs in the Prospect Area:

Government Wharf in Prospect

In Prospect Village the wharf is located near the end of Prospect Bay Road

Government Wharf at Lower Prospect, Nova Scotia

In Lower Prospect the wharf is located at the end of Lower Prospect Road

Fisshing at Shad Bay Wharf

The wharf at Shad Bay is located right on Rte #333 as you drive through the town.
